This photography project is an exploration of the fragility of masculinity and the stripping of it from my brothers. They are presented as extensions of myself, as something I am not, yet something I am related to. Through them, I confront my own identity and the shifting boundaries of gendered expectation.​

I shot in locations that are known to me through childhood experiences with my father and my upbringing. I value these places as they are moments of solitude with my own thoughts, as well as instances of bonding with my family. I use Dartmoor, The New Forest and Salisbury as set pieces for my brothers to be placed and manipulated for the viewer.
